Personal Data Protection Policy

  1. Preamble – General Principles

The law firm Axel Avocat, hereinafter referred to as the "Firm", applies a strict policy to guarantee the protection of the personal data of users of this website (the "Site"). The purpose of this personal data protection policy is to inform users about the reasons and means of collecting their personal data, as well as the commitments and measures taken by the Firm and its subcontractors and partners to ensure the respect of personal data.

The Firm complies with the applicable regulations regarding the protection of personal data, defined (i) by Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978  known as the "Data Processing and Freedoms" Law in its latest version in force and (ii) by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data ("GDPR").

The Site does not collect any personally identifiable information other than that which is openly and voluntarily provided by the User, in particular through contact forms, appointment booking forms and Newsletter subscription forms.

The Firm ensures that it collects and processes only data that is strictly necessary for the purpose for which it is processed (principle of data minimization).

In accordance with Article 32 of the amended Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the information provided by the forms on the websites www.axel-avocats.com and www.axel-enquetes.com is necessary to respond to the User's request and is intended for the relevant departments for the purpose of monitoring this request.

The firm only shares the User's personal data with authorized and designated recipients for the purposes of managing the newsletter and analysing website traffic for www.axel-avocats.com and www.axel-enquetes.com . The subcontractors who may process the User's data, whose list can be provided to involved persons upon request to contact@axel-avocats.com, do so in strict compliance with the principles and commitments of this policy, solely for the purposes stated above.

The Firm retains the User's personal data only for the period necessary for the operations for which it was collected and in compliance with applicable legislation.

The websites www.axel-avocats.com and www.axel-enquetes.com use tracking technologies (cookies).
