Our CSR commitments

At Axel Avocats, we focus on 2 different and complementary areas of commitment in order to build a firm that is committed and active in its Corporate Social Responsibility.

The human and ethical dimension

Exchanging, sharing and listening are our watchwords.

Internal exchanges for our clients

The members of our team are constantly collaborating and exchanging views on the issues we deal with, so that we can defend our clients' interests as effectively and consistently as possible.

These exchanges and sharing of experiences, points of view and opinions are carried out in the greatest benevolence.

Transparency of our practices

We are committed to being transparent with our clients. Whether it's the progress of our cases or our fees, our clients are kept informed of everything!

We make ourselves available to our clients so that we can respond to their questions, expectations and needs as quickly and efficiently as possible.

All our fees are available for consultation on our website: both those for our training courses and our various offers.

Security of files handled

A law firm must respect its duty of professional secrecy, confidentiality and discretion.

These are paramount values within the firm. Our clients are protected and can rest easy.

To this end, we have set up a platform on our website designed to secure and facilitate the sending of documents for our clients. This space is encrypted and secure, and has been created to respect our customers' privacy. Submitted documents are deleted from the platform within 72 hours of submission.

Once uploaded by our team members, customer documents are stored on a private and secure internal network.

External sharing

We are committed to sharing our knowledge with all those involved in labor law and human resources within the company (HR directors, HR managers, executives, employees, etc.).

We share a free weekly newsletter in which we keep our customers and "members" up to date with the latest legal news.

In addition, we offer training courses on a wide range of subjects in our areas of expertise. We do this with a view to sharing our expertise in labor law, social security law and litigation.

Sharing within the firm

At Axel Avocats, we believe in equal opportunities!

The firm is made up of people who are committed to professional equality and who fight every day against all forms of discrimination, moral harassment, sexual harassment and sexist behaviour.

We also welcome interns on a regular basis, with the aim of providing them with significant and useful experience for their future careers. They are full-fledged members of the team.

In short, no matter how good you are at the firm, you'll be given the welcome you deserve.

The environment

The concrete actions taken by Axel Avocats at various levels are the beginning of a line of conduct that we proudly uphold.

Small actions for big changes

At Cabinet, we have all taken individual actions to help change things on our own scale:

Waste management

"The best waste is the waste we don't produce", and if we do produce it, we sort it! It's a philosophy we apply at the firm.

We encourage team members to bring their own lunch boxes and water bottles, or to eat on site or in restaurants. This avoids the unnecessary production of waste associated with ordering, taking away or buying plastic bottles.

If, however, we do order or take away, we make sure we limit our waste by bringing our own containers, or do our best to ensure that the waste we have produced has not been for nothing:

We sort or recycle everything we can.

Note that we don't order disposable cutlery; we have self-service reusable crockery at the Cabinet.

Document management

We don't print documents when we don't have to, and we prefer to store our files electronically.

However, when it is necessary to print documents, given the inherent aspects of our business, we print on both sides and use recycled and fair-trade paper.

When our customers' files are finalized, we archive them (respecting the minimum file retention period), reusing any supplies we can for other purposes.

The impact of our individual travel

All team members travel to work by public transport. Telecommuting is common practice within the team, with each employee benefiting from at least one day of telecommuting per week, which helps to reduce the environmental impact of everyone's travel.

The impact of our business trips

When we need to travel outside Paris for hearings or training sessions, for example, we give priority to train travel.

When we take part in training sessions far from Paris, we suggest distance learning to our clients.

Similarly, when we go to court outside the Paris region, we sometimes call on trusted partners to limit our travel. Conversely, when a partner needs our help to carry out acts in the Paris region, we can substitute without difficulty.

Mail forwarding

The transfer of documents, files or any other "important" paper mail in the context of a file, for a recipient in Paris, is done by us or by bicycle courier.

The principle of energy sobriety

Axel Avocats is committed to the principle of energy efficiency. As a result, we are committed to being even more vigilant and active on several points:

Our concrete commitment to large-scale action

Cabinet Axel Avocats is a partner in Team for the Planet, a non-profit organization that implements solutions and finances concrete measures to reduce and counter greenhouse gas emissions. Team for the Planet has succeeded in deploying over 100 solutions to combat greenhouse gas emissions, thanks to donations from 112,877 shareholders.

The firm is also a member and donor of the 1% for the Planet association. This organization encourages companies to donate 1% of their annual sales to associations dedicated to protecting the environment. Their aim is to increase environmental philanthropy.

1% for the Planet is also committed to advising donors on the choice of association to which they wish to contribute.

In short, Axel Avocats is committed to contributing to the environment on a larger scale than the actions already implemented within its offices.
